  • Rapid Accula PCR tests are available from select providers for those who need the best of both worlds. Accula tests offer the accuracy of the RT-PCR in 30 minutes. Although slightly longer than an antigen test, the Accula is still fast enough to be used for mass-screening purposes.

How can I get same day Covid testing for my Washington DC event or business?

The first rapid antigen DIY test kits were authorized by the FDA in December 2020. Although the first shipments have already hit the US, the kits will not be plentiful on retail shelves until later this year, at which point they are expected to cost approximately $30 per test.
