When To Get A COVID-19 Test For Traveling
You should get a COVID-19 test for traveling if you:
- Need the certificate for traveling from or to a country that requires a COVID-19 Certificate.
- Are not vaccinated and have arrived in the US in the past 72 hours.
- Are vaccinated but start feeling symptoms (fever, dry cough, tiredness, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath) within a week of your trip.
- Are vaccinated, but your destination requires a negative PCR test COVID-19 Certificate.
- Need results the same day for travel.
- Need a rapid PCR test to avoid self-isolation at your destination.
